Luke 16:30-31

Luke 16:30-31

And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent.  And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.

Jesus tells the story of the beggar and the rich Lazarus, but this rich man goes to Hades and says about his five brothers, hoping not to come to Hades. If that Lazarus died and came alive and went to their house, they would repent. The rich man in Hades knows that "though if you believe, you will not be saved, but only if you repent." If the dead Lazarus lives, the rich brothers will repent. However, even when a rich man goes to the pussy, he is the master thoroughly. The rich man believes that his brothers will repent if the dead Lazarus comes alive and dies.

You must repent of God to be saved. You only have to have as much faith as mustard seeds. Why is repentance so emphasized? The reason is that we do not know the meaning of repentance. Repentance brings forth proper fruit. This is not a pleasing word to people. Repentance is pleasing only to those who repent. Even if the dead come to life, Abraham says, he will not be encouraged. If the dead are miraculously raised without repentance, the person does not repent. No repentance of any experience of the Holy Spirit. Repentance is being encouraged. How many people say they have repented by mouth, but they are not encouraged. Eventually, you will do what you want, and that's proof of not repenting.

The only way not to go to hell is repentance. Unrepentant faith is useless. When the dead return, many will be surprised and most will believe. But repentance is another dimension. You will not repent unless you listen to Moses and the prophets, the one sent by God. People may be shaken when a supernatural miracle occurs, and they may have faith, but they do not repent. Even when the dead come to life, they do not repent. The Pharisees asked Jesus to show a sign, but Jesus said, "There is nothing to show other than Jonah's sign." Jonah's sign shows that Jesus is raised from the dead in three days. Even if Jesus is alive, we do not repent. Jonah went to Nineveh and cried out repentance.

Jesus warned in Luke 13, "If you do not repent, you will perish," while in Luke 14:17-18, "And sent his servant at supper time to say to them that were bidden, Come; for all things are now ready. And they all with one consent began to make excuse. The first said unto him, I have bought a piece of ground, and I must needs go and see it: I pray thee have me excused. 'He said in a parable.

Salvation is a joyful thing like a feast, which means that even if you invite a feast, they all agree and refuse. This is the human figure that Jesus sees. The reason was "I bought a field." Man is because he is the master. In 14:19-20, the second said to be forgiven because he bought a cow. But the Lord does not forgive. The third is that he cannot go to the feast because he is married. It is recognized as a natural word without even saying forgiveness. He is saying this because he is the owner.
