Luke 12:35-48

(Luke 12:35-48)

Let your loins be girded about, and your lights burning;  And ye yourselves like unto men that wait for their lord, when he will return from the wedding; that when he cometh and knocketh, they may open unto him immediately. Blessed are those servants, whom the lord when he cometh shall find watching: verily I say unto you, that he shall gird himself, and make them to sit down to meat, and will come forth and serve them. And if he shall come in the second watch, or come in the third watch, and find them so, blessed are those servants.  And this know, that if the goodman of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched, and not have suffered his house to be broken through.  Be ye therefore ready also: for the Son of man cometh at an hour when ye think not. Then Peter said unto him, Lord, speakest thou this parable unto us, or even to all?  And the Lord said, Who then is that faithful and wise steward, whom his lord shall make ruler over his household, to give them their portion of meat in due season?  Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.  Of a truth I say unto you, that he will make him ruler over all that he hath.  But and if that servant say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming; and shall begin to beat the menservants and maidens, and to eat and drink, and to be drunken;  The lord of that servant will come in a day when he looketh not for him, and at an hour when he is not aware, and will cut him in sunder, and will appoint him his portion with the unbelievers.  And that servant, which knew his lord's will, and prepared not himself, neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes.  But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more.

Whom his lord shall make ruler over his household, to give them their portion of meat in due season? In in due season?means the second coming of Jesus. Food is the bread of life that becomes the bride of Jesus. Peter asked Jesus about the parable. He asked if it was a parable for us or for the whole world. In Mark's Gospel, Jesus said it was a parable for the whole world. Luke has no expression, and Matthew does not even mention a question.

A wise steward is a steward who realizes God's wisdom. The Bible said that when a wise man builds a house, he builds a house on the rock (Christ). This is what Jesus said in Matthew 7:21-24Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?  And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: That is, those who are wise are those who hear and do the word of God.
The foolish one builds a house on the sand. He is a person who wants to achieve something with his own strength. Therefore, a wise steward is a person who hears and does the word of God, who has complete faith in Jesus Christ. If you are in Christ, God gives you heavenly life. So that wise steward is able to impart heavenly life to others. It was expressed that each scribe in Heaven brings out God's old and new things and distributes food. The wise steward is the scribe of heaven.

Become a sincere steward and entrust his servants to his master. Stewards and servants are servants of Christ. The house servants are girls. The woman symbolizes the bride of Christ. About children in Hebrews 5:12-14 For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.  For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe.  But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil. The saints are the servants of Christ, and among them there are stewards, and some are like children. Jesus' words are saying, "How many true stewards are there who can share the bread of heavenly life so that we can become the bride of Jesus in the last days?" That means there are few. Those who feed the heavenly food are the awake and the wise. Jesus says to the wise steward, ``Of a truth I say unto you, that he will make him ruler over all that he hath. All that possession is the kingdom of God. The wise steward inherits the kingdom of God.
