Luke 20:41-47
(Luke 20:41-47)
And he said unto them, How say they that Christ is
David's son? And David himself saith in
the book of Psalms, The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, Till I make thine enemies thy
footstool. David therefore calleth him
Lord, how is he then his son? Then
in the audience of all the people he said unto his disciples, Beware of the scribes, which desire to
walk in long robes, and love greetings in the markets, and the highest seats in
the synagogues, and the chief rooms at feasts; Which devour widows' houses, and
for a shew make long prayers: the same shall receive greater damnation.
『 And David himself saith
in the book of Psalms, The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, Till I make thine enemies thy
footstool. 』 The LORD in front is the God of the throne. The Lord behind speaks of
Jesus Christ sitting at the right hand of the throne. Although there is only
one God, He works in three persons. He is the God of the throne, the Creator
Jehovah God, and the Holy Spirit. The Bible testifies of Jesus Christ. The
Bible speaks of the Lord, who came into this world in the flesh, and Christ who
will come again.
Jesus came in the
flesh and said to himself, "It was also in the Old Testament." He
said he was with Abraham. In John 8:55-59, “Yet
ye have not known him; but I know him: and if I should say, I know him not, I
shall be a liar like unto you: but I know him, and keep his saying. Your father
Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad. Then said the Jews
unto him, Thou art not yet fifty years old, and hast thou seen Abraham? Jesus
said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am. Then
took they up stones to cast at him: but Jesus hid himself, and went out of the
temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by. 』Jesus said in John 5:39, "Search the scriptures; for in them ye
think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me. 』
In Matthew 22:41-45, "While the Pharisees were gathered together, Jesus
asked them, Saying, What think ye of Christ?" whose son is he? They say
unto him, The son of David. He saith unto them, How then doth David in spirit
call him Lord, saying, The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand,
till I make thine enemies thy footstool? If David then call him Lord, how is he
his son? 』.
The Pharisees also
knew what the Bible said: However, it is difficult to think that you have
reached salvation just because you know the Bible well. In Matthew 21:9, when
Jesus saw Jesus descend from the Mount of Olives and enter the temple in
Jerusalem, the crowds say, ``And the multitudes that went before, and that
followed, cried, saying, Hosanna to the son of David: Blessed is he. that
cometh in the name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest. 』
Regarding ``The One
who comes in the name of Jehovah,'' Psalm 118:25-26 says, ``Save now, I beseech
thee, O LORD: O LORD, I beseech thee, send now prosperity. Blessed be he that
cometh in the name of the LORD: we have blessed you out of the house of the
LORD. 』. In Matthew 23:37-39, "O Jerusalem, Jerusalem,
thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how
often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her
chickens under her wings. , and ye would not! Behold, your house is left unto
you desolate. For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall
say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord. It is Jehovah. That is
why Jesus Christ is Jehovah.
God will save those
who repent from judgment when they realize that there is nothing good in us.
God will save our old man from the dead. So they are completely obedient to the
Lord. The incident that showed that the old man must die is the crucifixion.
Jesus said to his disciples tonight, "All will forsake me." Jesus
showed his disciples through the crucifixion that all of the old people born in
the flesh of this world will become like this. The crucifixion event became a
light for the disciples. When Jesus died on the cross, darkness came, but it
became a light to the disciples. The disciples all knew that Jesus was the Son
of God, but Jesus was not the Lord. Similarly, even if you are familiar with
the Bible, if Jesus is not the Lord, you will be a thrower of Jesus in some
circumstances. When Jesus becomes Lord, he becomes one with Jesus, who died on
the cross. If we cannot become one, there is no resurrection with Jesus, and we
cannot be seated in heaven.
The word “become
one” is well expressed in the Gospel of John. In John
17:21-22, "That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in
thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou
hast sent me. And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they
may be one, even as we are one: In Ephesians 5:31-32, 『For
this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto
his wife, and they two shall be one flesh. This is a great mystery: but I speak
concerning Christ and the church. In Genesis 2:24, `` Therefore shall a man
leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall
be one flesh. 』
In the Bible, “to
be one of men and women” is not to talk about marriage,
but to talk about the meaning of being one with God. If you cannot become one
with God, you cannot be saved. Because God is holy. Only those who are in
Christ can be one with God. To be in Christ, Christ must be Lord. You have to
give up 『My Master』, because 『My Master』 is the old man. Because this old
man is connected with Satan, God never forgave the old man. No matter how much
Jesus' blood is mobilized, they are not subject to forgiveness. This is because
the old man must die.
