Luke 7: 11-17

(Luke 7: 11-17) And it came to pass the day after, that he went into a city called Nain; and many of his disciples went with him, and much people. Now when he came nigh to the gate of the city, behold, there was a dead man carried out, the only son of his mother, and she was a widow: and much people of the city was with her.  And when the Lord saw her, he had compassion on her, and said unto her, Weep not.  And he came and touched the bier: and they that bare him stood still. And he said, Young man, I say unto thee, Arise.  And he that was dead sat up, and began to speak. And he delivered him to his mother.  And there came a fear on all: and they glorified God, saying, That a great prophet is risen up among us; and, That God hath visited his people.  And this rumour of him went forth throughout all Judæa, and throughout all the region round about.

The Bible says about marriage. In Genesis 2:24, ``Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh. This means that Christ comes into this world and meets the spirits who have left God and becomes one. So, in Ephesians 5:30-31, "For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.

31 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh. The church is a spirit that has been raised by the power of the Holy Spirit. And in Ephesians 5:23, ``For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body. The husband foreshadows Christ, and the wife represents the church (spirit).
In Genesis 2:22-23, ``And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man. And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.

It is an important story that Adam and Eve are originally one. A man (Christ) goes to his wife (church: spirit) and becomes one body. When Christ and the church meet, they become one again. He asked that what Jesus prayed for would become one. Being one is not the body but the spirit being one. When people get married, they must realize these truths, but they are not.

God gave Israel an inheritance by land. The earth symbolizes Adam. This is because Adam was made of earth (Adam). When Adam was alone, he was a man. Since a woman (Isha) comes out of a man (Ish), the man becomes the Adam who meets the woman. Israel's inheritance is the land of Canaan. The land of Canaan symbolizes the kingdom of God. It is a promise that God will give the Israelites the kingdom of God. In other words, an enterprise is a promise to the kingdom of God. God prevented the Israelites from selling the land. Israel had a system called jubilee. When the jubilee comes, everything that has been tied is released. It is to return to the original. The spirits on this earth who have left the kingdom of God can also return to their original state at the Jubilee Year. Because the jubilee is Jesus Christ.

Those who are deprived of the hope of the kingdom of God are the poor in spirit. If you lose the land in Canaan, you lose your business. You lose what God has promised. For those who lose the land all hope is cut off. Just as Canaan is an inheritance to Israel, so man becomes an inheritance from woman. Men symbolize Christ, and women symbolize the church (spirit).

The man is a woman's company, but her husband has died. That the husband died, the wife loses the enterprise. In other words, you lose your promise. However, when a husband dies, if he has a son, the inheritance continues, but without a son, there is no hope of an inheritance. In Luke 7 the widow even died of her son. Israel received the land as an inheritance, and the loss of the land and the widow's death, the loss of a son, have the same meaning.

In the Old Testament, the husband of Israel is Jehovah God. In Jeremiah 31:31-32, ``Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers. in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD:'When God leaves Israel, Israel becomes hopeless. As Deuteronomy 7:7-11 says, the law is not supposed to neglect widows or poor people. Exodus 23:11 also speaks of the poor.

But the seventh year thou shalt let it rest and lie still; that the poor of thy people may eat: and what they leave the beasts of the field shall eat. In like manner thou shalt deal with thy vineyard, and with thy oliveyard. Leviticus 19:9-10 says the same thing.

Here, the poor are those who have nothing to eat in this world, but ultimately, those who have no hope of returning from the kingdom of God are poor. To help the poor means to tell this fact. That is why it is helping the poor to have a hope to return to the kingdom of God through Christ. A widow whose son has died is a poor person and cannot live without care. Spiritually, it is a person whose hope (promise) to return to the kingdom of God has been cut off. "Many people in that city also came out with him." Most Israelis know the meaning of losing their business. The Lord saw the widow and was pitiful. Jesus knew the woman's pain.
