Luke 18:15-23

(Luke 18:15-23)

And they brought unto him also infants, that he would touch them: but when his disciples saw it, they rebuked them.  But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Suffer little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.  Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child shall in no wise enter therein.  And a certain ruler asked him, saying, Good Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life? And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? none is good, save one, that is, God. Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Honour thy father and thy mother.  And he said, All these have I kept from my youth up. Now when Jesus heard these things, he said unto him, Yet lackest thou one thing: sell all that thou hast, and distribute unto the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, follow me.  And when he heard this, he was very sorrowful: for he was very rich.

God wants to be worshiped through someone who humbles himself like a child. Worship must be restored in the field of life. Worship is not only held on the days that people have set as Sunday, but there should always be a worship that builds an altar in the field of life, saying, "The Lord is the Spirit, and you must worship with spirit and truth." Worship is victory. Even though Jacob lives the life of a fugitive, that place becomes Bethel, the house of God. Since we worship with whole heart at work and at home, that place should be the house of God. This is the life of the saints.

In the wilderness, God said, "Let my people worship." Surprisingly, King Pharaoh said, "Just worship in Egypt." The Lord said, ``No,'' and God said, ``You must worship in a place where you can go after three days. The three days symbolize the death and resurrection of the cross. We must become a life of worshiping God at the most precious time when we were cut off from the world and died. It is expressed as worshiping, but it is not worshiping, but entering into worship. It is to enter into Jesus Christ on the cross in any time disconnected from the world. That is worship to God.

The Lord commanded the people to depart three days from Egypt. The Lord gave miracles for worship and judged the Egyptian gods who were afflicting the Hebrew people. As we focus on worship, the Lord will judge the forces of Satan that afflict us. This is redemption. Satan is always working in the situation that prevents worship. But when we cry with all our heart, the Lord will solve the circumstances that Satan prevents. It is not because the environment is difficult that you cannot worship, but because you do not worship, the environment becomes difficult.

Just as He humbles you in the wilderness and lives as a slave to King Pharaoh, it is not the Lord who receives as being humbled by worldly affairs. The Lord humbles us with worship. Worship is not lowered because of worldly affairs, but lowered us to exalt the Lord. This is the life of worship. Worship is to exalt the Lord and humble us. We must not be humbled by the things of the world, but go to the place of worship that is humbled by the Lord. Then the Lord will test it. The Lord wants you to know what your heart is like by humble and test it.

The Lord wants to know whether to obey without making excuses under any circumstances. So, obedience comes from worship. Even if you are hurt by worldly affairs, worship that obeys the Lord comes out. The Lord's temptation is not for everyone. The test is done only to those who are ready. God's temptation is not like the devil's temptation that causes you to fall, but rather a test that gives you thanks. It is only in worship that the Lord is exalted and the Lord tests when we are humbled. The test is only a test that makes us realize whether or not to obey the Lord.

Man was made in the image of God. What makes humans different from beasts is their longing for eternal things. I asked how the rich young man gained eternal life. Not only the rich young man, it is telling everyone that there is no good person. An official approached Jesus and asked. In the Gospel of Matthew, he is introduced as a rich young man. But Jesus replied that there is nothing but God who is good. All beings who do not obey God's Word are not good. All beings of disobedience become evil ones. It is said that the disobedient angels in the kingdom of God are evil, and Adam and Eve who failed to keep God's command in the Garden of Eden are evil.
