Luke 16:27-29

(Luke 16:27-29)

Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father's house:  For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment.  Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.

Jesus gave the parable of the rich man and Lazarus in his public life for three years. The rich man lived well in this world and died and went to hell. The beggar Lazarus suffered in this world, but died and went to heaven. When the rich man went to hell, he felt that his family would never go to hell. So, he's telling Abraham in Heaven, "I have five of my brothers, please bring the beggar Lazarus back to life and send it to this world, and if the beggar comes back to life, they will repent." It means that when I went to hell, I finally realized how to not go to hell, saying, ``You must repent and you will not go to hell.''

Anyone who has never been to hell does not know it. But Abraham in Heaven said, "No, even if the dead come to life, he will not repent." The rich man in Hell believes, "If the dead man sees the miracle that comes to life, he will repent." It is different from the thoughts of Abraham in Heaven and the thoughts of the rich man in Hell. It means that no matter what miracle you experience, you will not repent. Abraham told them, "There are Moses and the prophet. There is no way unless they listen to them." All the churches are telling the news that Jesus was resurrected, but we must consider whether he has the power of resurrection. The power of resurrection is applied to the dead with the fleshly heart.

In Romans 10:9, ``That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. The condition of salvation is that Jesus must be the master. Jesus lived on this earth for 40 days after His resurrection and then ascended to heaven, and before Jesus died, He said, "After three days, he will rise again." The priest who killed Jesus put a guard in the tomb, because the disciples might steal the body, but for 40 days after his resurrection, why did he not show it to people except for some? When Jesus ascended to heaven, he said, "If you receive the Holy Spirit, preach it."

He told people that "Jesus has risen." But where is the risen Jesus? He replied that he ascended to heaven when he asked. Humans need to believe that Jesus is resurrected to be saved, but from a human standpoint, it would be better if the resurrected Jesus appeared when the priest worshiped on the Sabbath and said "I am" in order for many people to be saved. Then no one will deny it, saying, ``Jesus is truly resurrected,'' and this belief is not a saved faith in the Bible.

When the light comes in, the darkness will surely go out. When we live a life of despair over the world, the risen Lord does not work on us. When the resurrected Jesus is in me, there is no need to despair under any circumstances in this world. There is no Jesus in my despair. You never doubt that you believe in Jesus until you despair, but the moment you despair, you realize that Jesus is absent. It is only the appearance of the flesh received from parents. Even when people see the dead come to life, people do not repent. It is said that repentance is another thing even when we see the resurrected Jesus.

There are two kinds of beliefs. It is the faith that the flesh believes and the faith that comes from heaven. The faith in the flesh is the faith until Peter, who experienced numerous miracles, denied Jesus. This is a faith that cannot go to heaven. Peter knew by revelation that Jesus was the Son of God, but that was not a saved faith.

Peter, who was nurtured by miracles, revelations, and words, said, "All of you will forsake me tonight" at the Passover dinner that night. They all answered, "No." Peter replied most strongly: "Even if they all abandon you, I will not." Peter's faith in this way is faith in the flesh. Even if we see miracles, we do not experience saved faith. Because it is not a changed faith.

What about salvation today? You may be thinking, "You are saved through faith in the heart of the flesh." The heart of the flesh must not be saved, but must die. The death of the fleshly heart is the faith that is united with Jesus. This is what Jesus revealed the night before his death on the cross. Misfortune is not knowing or forgetting this fact. No matter how well the church life is, if you don't know this, you are just unfortunate. This is because they have never had the faith of salvation that the Bible says.
