Luke 15:8-10

(Luke 15:8-10)

Either what woman having ten pieces of silver, if she lose one piece, doth not light a candle, and sweep the house, and seek diligently till she find it?  And when she hath found it, she calleth her friends and her neighbours together, saying, Rejoice with me; for I have found the piece which I had lost.  Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.

This is the second parable of Jesus. The first parable is that one of the hundred sheep is lost and the shepherd goes out to find one. The sheep were not lost, but the shepherd. So, this is the content of the shepherd leaving the ninety-nine in the field and going to find one. This means that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, abandoned the throne in heaven and came to earth. And the second parable is the story of a woman looking for a lost coin. It is the story of the Holy Spirit coming to the church and the woman, the church, to find the lost (dead) coin due to the illumination of the Holy Spirit.

In the second parable, we can do nothing because we are dead. It is only possible with the work of the Holy Spirit. The last verses of these two parables are the same: "In this way, if one sinner repents, it is joy before the messengers of God." Losing the shepherd is the beginning of sin. Depending on the situation like this, our condition leads to the second metaphor.

The human spirit is dead in darkness. What we need is light. So, the Lord established the church, and the church was bought by the Lord for the price of the Lord's blood, and the Lord established it. I will build a church on this rock. The church is not built by man. The church people build is not a church. What the Lord builds up a church is to attach dry bones to them, to attach leather to them, to attach to tendons, and to inspire them. This is what happened at Pentecost.

In John 5:25, ``Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live. The spirit is dead in all people's sins and transgressions, but the dead spirit doesn't come back to life because he gives love. The righteousness of God is necessary in order for the spirit who died of sin to come to life. So Noah preached righteousness. In 1 Peter 2:5, ``Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.

Noah was a preacher of righteousness. Our goal is to be righteous. Only when you are righteous can you become perfect. Only then will God walk with him. First, he seeks his country and righteousness. In Romans 1:17, ``For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith. The righteousness of God was revealed, and the wrath of God was revealed to the unrighteous. Today, those who are blocking the truth with injustice think of themselves as "righteous." So, two things are colliding in the church.

When trying to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah, the Lord seeks the righteous. The Lord said that if there are even ten righteous men, they will not destroy them. The righteous are important. Righteousness precedes love. Love without righteousness is useless. All the words of the prophets seek justice first. Then compassion and love follow. Many churches today speak of God's love first. Without righteousness, we cannot meet the Lord. Why Does Repentance Cause Reconciliation? Because the Lord is righteous. In Hebrews, Noah was called the heir of righteousness. In other words, he was saved because he was righteous. Because of righteousness, He allowed the ark to live Noah. Righteousness must be taught from childhood so that people can repent.
