Luke 13:6-9

(Luke 13:6-9)

He spake also this parable; A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard; and he came and sought fruit thereon, and found none. Then said he unto the dresser of his vineyard, Behold, these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none: cut it down; why cumbereth it the ground? And he answering said unto him, Lord, let it alone this year also, till I shall dig about it, and dung it: And if it bear fruit, well: and if not, then after that thou shalt cut it down.

Jesus cursed the fig tree without fruit. This meant the Israelites who were trapped in the law. In Matthew 7:15-21Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.  Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?  Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.  A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.  Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.  Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.  Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

God's will is to repent and return. Saints are united with Jesus on the cross and live a life of self-denial. Otherwise, in 7:23 he says, "I don't know you." In the parable of the end times, in Matthew 24:32-33Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh: So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.

The fig tree at this time represents the situation of the end times. When the fig tree has leaves, it means to realize that summer is near. It is said that the situation is the same as that of Noah and Lot in Luke 17. Both were judged by God. In the days of Noah, in Genesis 6:2-3, "That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose. And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.

Sons and daughters have many meanings. Heaven and earth, those who have seeds and those who do not, but both are people who say they believe in God. Both are sons and daughters, one son of God and one daughter of man. Today, I mean one who is sitting in the same church, but one who follows the law of the Holy Spirit and one who is trapped in the law. They have a different birth. One is the life received from parents (the daughter of man), and the other is the regenerated life received from God (the son of heaven). But both say they believe in God. It can be said that the son is the one who has the seed's promise, and the daughter is the one who does not have the seed's promise.

Noah's time means a spiritual story, and Lot's time means a physical story. Today, Noah's time is what happens in the church, Lot's story is what happens in the world. What both have in common is the story of adultery. In Noah's day, spiritual adultery, the union of the one with and the without, the promise of the seed is that both are mixed. He believes in God and follows the customs of the world, so everyone has become spiritually corrupt. It is the same reason as to love the world, saying that many members of the church today are born again. They say that they are trapped in the law and follow the Holy Spirit. This is called spiritual adultery. They say that they have been born again into a spiritual body and are inevitable to sin. So, they transform regeneration into a state of mind.
