Luke 12:8-12

 (Luke 12:8-12)

Also I say unto you, Whosoever shall confess me before men, him shall the Son of man also confess before the angels of God: But he that denieth me before men shall be denied before the angels of God.  And whosoever shall speak a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but unto him that blasphemeth against the Holy Ghost it shall not be forgiven.  And when they bring you unto the synagogues, and unto magistrates, and powers, take ye no thought how or what thing ye shall answer, or what ye shall say: For the Holy Ghost shall teach you in the same hour what ye ought to say.

Even in the Gospel of Matthew, Jesus healed a devil who was dumb. When the Jews said that they had expelled demons with the power of Bealzebul, the king of demons, Jesus said, ``All sins and blasphemy of men are forgiven, but they blaspheme the Holy Spirit. Sin cannot be forgiven.

Many church members seem to be very indifferent to the sin of blasphemy, but when they say it, they feel uncomfortable. There seems to be some people who think that I am not committing a blasphemy even though I say I believe in Jesus because something is clear and unclear. In order for us to know exactly the sin of blasphemy, we must know about all the sins and blasphemy of man. It is the sin of the Holy Spirit that does not belong to all human sins and blasphemy. All the sins of this world, except the sin of blasphemy, are the sins of men and blasphemy. It means that the sins of the world can be forgiven, but the sins against the Holy Spirit cannot be forgiven.

The tense of saying that worldly sins can be forgiven is important. In the original Greek language, it says, "All sins and blasphemy of man shall be forgiven", and the point of time begins when Jesus died on the cross because Jesus carried the sins of the world over 2,000 years ago.

When Jesus came to be baptized by John the Baptist in the Jordan River, John the Baptist saw Jesus and said, "Behold, the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world." Jesus is going to take all the sins of the world as the Lamb of God, and he has fulfilled it through Jesus' death on the cross. However, through Jesus Christ, all the sins of the world are forgiven, but the sins of blasphemy are not forgiven. Those who believe the words of Jesus do not have the sin of blasphemy. However, many church members say that for sins that occur in this world, you must repent every time a sin occurs. But Jesus took all the sins of the world over 2,000 years ago.

Jesus says that he took away all the sins of the world, but the church people who still live today insist on repentance for sin. When saying that Jesus took all the sins of the world, you forgive everything that happened until then, did you not forgive what happened after that? Those who believe in Jesus believe that it applies to those born 2000 years later. If Jesus believes that 2,000 years ago that Jesus took all the sins of the world on the cross still applies today, why not believe in the fact that all sins that arise after first repenting and believing in Jesus are forgiven?

What is the basis for thinking that Jesus' carrying all the sins of the world on the cross can be applied to people today, 2000 years later, but that such a thing does not apply to himself? It is said that they believe in Jesus Christ and have all their sins forgiven, but they still have to think that they believe that sins will occur and remain until death. So, rather than relying on the saying that Jesus took all of his sins on the cross, he is thinking of himself that he must repent to be forgiven, and for those who repent, Jesus keeps bleeding on the cross. .

If not, the blood that Jesus shed on the cross 2000 years ago would have to go through the process of repentance while thinking that it applies today. What people say in the Bible shouldn't be complicated by putting different ideas. If you believe that Jesus took all the sins of the world from the cross 2,000 years ago, and you still believe that the believer still has the sin of repentance, it is the result of believing that the sins of the world will remain even after Jesus died on the cross. It will be the result of not believing the words of Jesus. Those who think they must repent for themselves should think about the first time they repent, think of the grace of God by thinking about the cross of Jesus Christ, and think first of what I should do while living in this world.

We can understand more about the sin of blasphemy through specific examples. In John 2:13-22 we can see Jesus expelling the people who are selling in the temple. Why do the Jews do this when they see Jesus' actions? Ask the question. For the reason for doing this, they said to show the target. Jesus said that he would destroy this temple and raise it up in three days. In connection with the temple, you can see how those who believe in Jesus commit the sin of blasphemy.
