Luke 12: 49-50

(Luke 12: 49-50)

I am come to send fire on the earth; and what will I, if it be already kindled? But I have a baptism to be baptized with; and how am I straitened till it be accomplished!

The Holy Spirit came to John the Baptist in the wilderness. So he shouted "Repent" and he baptized people. And John said: "He who comes after me will baptize with the Holy Spirit." Anyone who goes to God must unconditionally repent of God and be forgiven by God. Since God is holy, human sin is without remission without bloodshed. Originally, the sinner must bleed to die. However, God killed His Son, Jesus, on the cross for the repentant. The way in which people reconcile with God is to be forgiven of sin "by repentance of God and the shedding of Jesus Christ." The ransom is not received by sinners, but only by the righteous. That is why the Son of God, Jesus Christ, is shed.

In addition to the ransom of blood, those who are united with Jesus must believe in dying together. Blood is applied only to those who are united with Jesus, not atonement for anyone. For it is the blood that sinners must shed. If the sinner is not united with Jesus, he will bleed at the judgment.

In the Roman era, the forefront was formed around Galilee. The strongest tenth legion of Rome was stationed from Cairo to Galilee. The Jews had to pay harsh taxes to feed the Roman soldiers. The Jews found in their reality that there was a wall between God and the Jews. So the Jews realized that it was because of their sin against God, and they went to John the Baptist and washed it away by being baptized. In New Testament times, baptism is not the washing of sins, but the death of sins. There will be various difficulties that appear to us. In many cases, this is due to sin. It can happen because of being cut off from God, without repentance. The desire to be like God is evil. So greed makes people sin. Evil is the death penalty to God.

Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:(Romans 1: 29-31)

The sin expressed in Romans (1: 28-31) is a death penalty to God. God's court is stricter than the courts of the world. For God made man to contain the image of God, the Holy Spirit. But such sin kills the spirit. When the spirit dies, it is out of God. This is the death penalty to God. Later, when the body dies, it wears the spirit body, which will depend on what body you wear. Will you wear clothes of fire? Will you wear angel's clothes? If you do not repent, wear clothes of fire. We must repent, deny the fleshly body contaminated with sin, and put on the body of the holy spirit.

The Holy Spirit gives revelation and power to the saints to preach the gospel. John the Baptist said: "He who comes after me will baptize with the Holy Spirit and with fire." Jesus died on the cross and was resurrected three days later. Jesus did not show the resurrection body to anyone. Why did Jesus not show the resurrection body to anyone? If Jesus shows his resurrection body, everyone will believe in his resurrection. But Jesus did not show the resurrection to anyone, but only to his disciples. Jesus allowed only those who repent to believe in the resurrection. So let the disciples make people believe in the resurrection. Those who believe in Jesus' resurrection will be baptized in the Holy Spirit. Water baptism indicates the death of the body of the flesh, and baptism of the Holy Spirit means rebirth into the body of the spirit. So Jesus said in Luke 12: 49-50:

I am come to send fire on the earth; and what will I, if it be already kindled? But I have a baptism to be baptized with; and how am I straitened till it be accomplished! Jesus came to this world for three years to send fire on the earth. Many people have heard of the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Those who were baptized in the Holy Spirit felt ecstatic. So unbelievers said, "They are drunk." When people get drunk, they forget everything. Likewise, people who have been baptized by the Holy Spirit say they are "drunken." "Drunk new" means "experience heaven". Alcohol gives strength Likewise, the Holy Spirit gives power to believers. So the saints speak of the resurrection of Jesus by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Jesus also showed anxiety in Mark 14:36: And he said, Abba, Father, all things are possible unto thee; take away this cup from me: nevertheless not what I will, but what thou wilt.
Without the power of the Holy Spirit, the physical body will be afraid. But those who receive the power of the Holy Spirit will boldly testify of Jesus. So what happens in Luke 12: 51-53:
Suppose ye that I am come to give peace on earth? I tell you, Nay; but rather division: For from henceforth there shall be five in one house divided, three against two, and two against three. The father shall be divided against the son, and the son against the father; the mother against the daughter, and the daughter against the mother; the mother in law against her daughter in law, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
