Luke 22:1-18

(Luke 22:1-18) Now the feast of unleavened bread drew nigh, which is called the Passover. And the chief priests and scribes sought how they might kill him; for they feared the people. Then entered Satan into Judas surnamed Iscariot, being of the number of the twelve. And he went his way, and communed with the chief priests and captains, how he might betray him unto them. And they were glad, and covenanted to give him money. And he promised, and sought opportunity to betray him unto them in the absence of the multitude. Then camethe day of unleavened bread, when the passover must be killed.  And he sent Peter and John, saying, Go and prepare us the passover, that we may eat. And they said unto him, Where wilt thou that we prepare?  And he said unto them, Behold, when ye are entered into the city, there shall a man meet you, bearing a pitcher of water; follow him into the house where he entereth in.  And ye shall say unto the goodman of the house, The Master saith unto thee, Where is the guestchamber, where I shall eat the passover with my disciples?  And he shall shew you a large upper room furnished: there make ready.  And they went, and found as he had said unto them: and they made ready the passover.  And when the hour was come, he sat down, and the twelve apostles with him. And he said unto them, With desire I have desired to eat this passover with you before I suffer:  For I say unto you, I will not any more eat thereof, until it be fulfilled in the kingdom of God.  And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and said, Take this, and divide it among yourselves:  For I say unto you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine, until the kingdom of God shall come.

The covenant of the Bible is a promise between God and man. God required humans to unilaterally make a covenant and obey. However, because humans disobey, the old ones are invalidated, and God makes a new covenant with the new one. Therefore, the covenant made with the old people is called the old covenant, and the covenant made with the new person is called the new covenant. The new covenant is a covenant established by the blood of Jesus. Those who eat Jesus' flesh and drink blood become partakers of the New Covenant. That is, those who are united with Jesus on the cross participate in the new covenant. This is what enters Canaan.

Jesus was resurrected and ascended into heaven. The night before Jesus was crucified, He spoke of a new covenant. After Jesus broke the bread, he said, "This cup is a new covenant established with blood." Those who are in Jesus Christ become partakers of the New Covenant. Those who are in Jesus Christ are those who are buried together with Jesus who died on the cross. The saints believe that Jesus died for my sins and accept that that death is my death. So, to the law (Galatians 2:19), to sin (Romans 6:2), to the world (Galatians 6:14), we represent the dead. Romans 6:3 says, "Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?" Participation in the new covenant is united with the death of Jesus. That is, those who are born again participate in the new covenant. So, it means that the regenerated person is justified by faith. Not everyone is born again by believing in Jesus, but those who are united with Jesus' death are born again. So, you participate in the new covenant. In Romans 6:7, "For he that is dead is freed from sin. So the words of Romans 8:1 apply: ``There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
