Luke 20:27-40

(Luke 20:27-40)

Then came to him certain of the Sadducees , which deny that there is any resurrection; and they asked him,  Saying, Master, Moses wrote unto us, If any man's brother die, having a wife, and he die without children, that his brother should take his wife, and raise up seed unto his brother.  There were therefore seven brethren: and the first took a wife, and died without children.  And the second took her to wife, and he died childless.  And the third took her; and in like manner the seven also: and they left no children, and died.  Last of all the woman died also. Therefore in the resurrection whose wife of them is she? for seven had her to wife. And Jesus answering said unto them, The children of this world marry, and are given in marriage:  But they which shall be accounted worthy to obtain that world, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage: Neither can they die any more: for they are equal unto the angels; and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection.  Now that the dead are raised, even Moses shewed at the bush, when he calleth the Lord the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.  For he is not a God of the dead, but of the living: for all live unto him.  Then certain of the scribes answering said, Master, thou hast well said.  And after that they durst not ask him any question at all.

But they which shall be accounted worthy to obtain that world, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage:  Neither can they die any more: for they are equal unto the angels; and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection. During the resurrection, the spirit puts on a spiritual body. Jesus expressed that the body of resurrection was equal to the angel. In the Gospel of Matthew it is said that it is like an angel. It is the present image of the born again. Those who are born again believe that they have been resurrected with a spiritual body. So, they are restored to the image of God. If a person is not born again, he becomes dead to God.

In James 2:26, For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also. When the spirit dies, the fellowship with God is cut off, so you become dead. If a person does not become a regenerated person, it all becomes like this. The faith of the born again is evidenced by works.

Without a new life united with Jesus Christ, we cannot enter the kingdom of God. The new life is the resurrection life, and the Lord is with those who are born again. Otherwise, they are only subject to wrath. We can live only by denying the old man we received from our parents and going to the resurrection life we received from God. This is the life of the born again. Those who are born again are not beings that gradually change and become that way, but are reborn with water and the Holy Spirit. The old man dies from the water and is resurrected into a spiritual body by the power of the Holy Spirit. This becomes the resurrection life. Only when there is a resurrection life, the dead spirit is alive. The spirit can enter the kingdom of God only by wearing a spiritual body. The spirit is trapped in a body contaminated with sin and dies.

As Jesus worked on this earth for three years, he said, "The reason I came to this earth is to die as a ransom." He said that he died after suffering, and then came back to life in three days. He said this often. The priests and scribes visit Pilate after the sentence was executed: ``When he was alive, he often said that he would be raised in three days. So, lie can spread, so ask for a guard. They didn't believe in the resurrection, but they remembered that Jesus died and was resurrected after three days. But those who followed Jesus did not even remember. The disciples were those who ate the miraculous bread, witnessed firsthand that the storm had ended, and saw the dead Lazarus raised from the tomb.

Peter John and James were the disciples who saw Moses and Elijah come down to the earth and talk with Jesus on the Mount of Transfiguration. Nevertheless, on the day Jesus was resurrected, no one believed in the resurrection. The women first went to the grave at dawn. The disciples heard that Jesus' body was gone. And they heard the voice, "The linen cloth wrapped around the body was broken, and I met an angel." So, Peter and John run to the tomb. Jesus often talked about the resurrection, but none of the disciples believed in Jesus' resurrection.

How do the people of the church living in this day believe that Jesus was resurrected? Have you ever been brainwashed? Wasn't it memorized because they heard so much? We need to think about how we came to believe in the resurrection. Do we really believe in the resurrection? This is because the power of resurrection is not revealed to many church people. Nevertheless, Jesus is resurrected and is in the believer. The resurrection is wonderful news and believes in it, the news of the resurrection is present, but the power of the resurrection is not seen. No matter how much we shout for resurrection, the world does not believe because we do not see the power of resurrection in us. You have to turn to eating out. Even when despair comes to believers, we can know. Despair and resurrection cannot go together. If we believe that the risen Jesus is in us, what can we despair in this world? Even if despair tries to come in, it will be pushed out. Like if there is a light, darkness cannot come in.

So, we shouldn't say we believe in the resurrection. We should not be hypocrisy of the Pharisees. If we believe in the resurrection, we must preach the resurrection. People lurking about things that rationally can't be done. But we must turn back. Neither those who walked on the storm nor those who ate Oh Byeong-Ye's bread could believe in the resurrection. Peter and John return from the tomb and say. The linen cloth wrapped around the body was broken and the angels said that Jesus was resurrected. But none of the people in the room believed it. Peter and John, who had abandoned everything and followed Jesus, said, the disciples in the room did not believe. But how are people sure they believe?

When Jesus was resurrected, no one believed in the resurrection. Even when the resurrected Jesus entered the room, the disciples said, "Is he a spirit?" Although the disciples saw the reality of the resurrection, they did not believe in the resurrected body. Jesus said, "The spirit has no flesh and bones, but I have." Even those who saw Jesus' resurrection in the Bible couldn't believe it, but today they say "I believe in all". Romans 10:9 says, "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. . This faith cannot arise in a sinner man. The mind or soul's thoughts originate from the body. Nothing from the body can be saved. Thoughts originating from the body are knowledge, they cannot accept the resurrection. Because it proves whether there is Jesus in our lives.
